Welcome to Moon Valley Australian Shepherds. We are a small hobby kennel located in the town of Glen Ellen in the Sonoma Valley Wine Country, about an hour north of San Francisco. Moon Valley refers to the picturesque "Valley of the Moon" named by author Jack London who lived and wrote nearby. We have three passions: good food and wine, the game of soccer, and our two Aussies, Macy and Miya. We love our Aussies and enjoy them as an integral part of our family. Miya, a rescued red merle, is very smart, protective, lanky, and aloof. Macy is our showgirl and everyone knows she is Rich's favorite. We are very grateful to Macy's breeder, Sr. Breeder Judge Cathy Davis (Melody Aussies) for becoming our friend and mentor in all things Aussie. We are co-breeding Macy's first litter with Melody Aussies...planned for mid-Spring 2008. Thank you for visiting our site,
